USCIS has announced the implementation of a new interview requirement for employment-based adjustment of status applications. All employment-based adjustment of status cases, where the underlying petition is a Form I-140 (EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3) that are filed on or after March 6, 2017, will be subject to an interview at a USCIS Field Office. Cases filed before March 6, 2017, will be adjudicated by USCIS Service Centers pursuant to prior adjudication procedures.
