The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) has announced on March 9, 2020 that SEVP-certified schools may need to update their policies and procedures to address the evolving nature of the COVID-19 crisis. SEVP has indicated that it is focused on the goal of ensuring that F-1 students can progress in their full-time course of study but that SEVP will be “flexible with temporary adaptations.”
